Default Lift Help

Hey guys i have a 99 ram 1500 laramie regular bed 2wd. right now she is leveled with a 2.5 inch spacer up front and add a leafs out back. I now want to do an actual suspension lift. A few months back i ordered some doetsch spindles and needless to say after they told me to grind over an inch out of my lower control arm right next to my ball joint, they were sent back and i contacted fabtech. I am told there is no grinding for the fabtech system. I am having some issues deciding between a 3.5 or 6.5 system. right now i am running 285/75/16 with minor rubbing after cutting my whole inner fender out.
With having 4.56 gears i want to eventually go to 35s but these tires being brand new cannot justify getting new ones. so should i get the 3.5 inch kit then add the longer coils when i am ready for the 6.5 and 35, or should i just go ahead and do the 6.5 inch and roll on 33s for a bit. How ridiculous will it be? BTW this truck is a dd/chase truck is its intended build. thanks

hmm. that is tough.

It wouldn't look horrible on the 33s. esp if they are an aggressive tire. There was a guy on here who had a 6in on 33s that were just street tires and it looked kindy goofy. But wasn't as bad as I thought itd be.

I would save the headache and just go for the 6.5. Maybe you can find someone to sell the good condition 33s to and buy some 35s. It wont look awful.

that sounds like what i really want to do they are actually a 32.8 inch tire with 11.50 section width so they are pretty close and i could always just roll on some used 35's for now.
