Default VOTS Notifications

Does anyone remember how their VOTS notifications came through? Are they batched such that if you don't see something that morning you're probably not going to or do they come anytime throughout the day, anytime?

I'm starting week 4 and only got the order accept 1st thing one morning, about 5 days in. Just trying to see how often I need to check my email!

All of my VOTS E-Mail notifications have come at around 7:30 am CST.

You can get a more detailed update by calling RAM Customer Care. They can tell the approximate date it is scheduled for production and they have a comprehensive code system as to status which is not shown on VOTS.

The codes are like the following:

C Sub firm
D Firm schedule - dealer has allocation and all parts available
D1 Gateline schedule - scheduled to be built.

There are over 20 such codes

Check your spam in your email. For some reason my 2nd notification went into my spam folder in my gmail account. Came last Friday.

Im heading into week 4 since I ordered, and have not received any notifications from VOTS. I called the dealer and they told me it is still in "D" status. They have no VIN for it yet either. Is there any other way I can track it so that I am able to call RAM customer service and see whats up??

I'm in week 4 also, I stopped into my dealer and they printed out a sheet with my VIN# and vehicle specs which works with VOTS.

I've never received a email from VOTS either.

Thanks, maybe I will try to stop in this weekend and maybe at least get an order number or something to call in. They keep telling me I should have received an email already and I haven't. I have been checking my spam folder, but still nothing. They also told me I will definitely receive an email when they assign the VIN, but we will see.

Normally you should get your first E-Mail within 4 days of the order being submitted by your dealer. This is a "SOLD" order so it should have a higher priority than a dealer inventory order.
The initial E-Mail will extend congratulations on the new purchase and provide a link to the VOTS (Vehicle Order Tracking System) for your specific vehicle.

It will also contain your tracking number which consists of the last 8 digits of your vin. If you wish to manually track your vehicle you can go to:
Login page: www.ramtrucks.com/vots
Enter last name:
Tracking number (vin):

As valued customer the dealer and the salesperson should be keeping you apprised as the sale is not completed until the vehicle is delivered and the new owner is completely satisfied.
