Default 4th piece of the puzzle

Hey Guys,
I'm looking for some expertise, experience, opinion and maybe some wild speculation.
When I bought my 13 back in December I always had the plan of adding a CAI, exhaust, Tuner and possibly a TB.

Now after 8 months of ownership and lots of back and forth I am running a Vararam Air Grabber (love that thing) Bulley's performance 87mm TB and an 18" Magnaflow muffler. The combo of the three feels and sounds real good to me and I am happy with the pep and responsiveness they deliver.

As I understand it there is one choice of tuner at the moment with a few others available in the coming months ??

I don't plan on running headers, changing gears or swapping the TC.

My question is ... based on what I have and what I DON'T have... Which tuner company would suit me the best.

I'm not the kind of guy that will change my tune every month and I'lll never end up running it on a track.

I just want the 4th piece of the puzzle to fit.

If you have thoughts- please share - I enjoys sifting through the debate.

If you don't need the custom tuning ability, then stick with superchips or bully dog. But I didn't thing either had tuning out for the '13 yet.

The set up that seams to be giving most guys the best results is the Diablosport Trinity with a Hemifever custom tune. If you're okay with dealing with the custom tuning side of things I'd definitely recommend that. But you will be waiting a bit yet.... If you want to stick with canned tunes only the. Go with Bully Dog.

All my quickest passes have been on the trinity canned tunes.... The hemifever tunes are .5 to .7 slower on every test. I'd sure like to put Bullydog canned tunes up against the trinity canned tunes. I've read of several members ditching the BD for the trinity....

I have had good results with the Bullydog. More power and firmer shifts with just basic mods.Moving the shift points up really helped with shift recovery. I ran a 14.1 quarter if full trim with traction problems from the one wheel peel. My vote is for the BD.

OP has a 2013, BullyDog is his only option

Having used several programmers on my 2010:

(BullyDog GT, Superchips Cortex and a Diablosport Trinity)

I'd wait for Diablo , and just stick to the canned tunes

+1 to waiting for diablo and just using their canned tunes. Diablo's canned tunes are widely regarded as better than Bullydog's.

Well that's some good sage advice right outta the gate- Thanks guys! I know I'll have to wait a bit if I want choices... I'm prepared for that. It also sounds like people like em all- BullyDog, Diablo and Superchips. I guess it has to do with what you have and if you're happy with it.
I owned a SuperChip back on my 98 Ram and I loved it.

I just want a solid tune that will open her up that extra little bit. It's my daily driver but I like to keep the fun in driving.
I'll pop back on this thread when I decide and let you know the outcome.
