Haha I wish I could have installed them, believe me. But for one, I can't run the custom tunes without the DPF deleted so I need an exhaust first. I probably could run the stock H&S non-delete tuning for now but I think I'd rather just wait until I can delete everything. Plus it comes back to the whole wanting to get more miles on the truck before deleting. I'm at about 5300km now and I think I want to have around 10,000km on it before I delete. That way I know it's good and broken in. So for now the tuner and EGR delete kit are safely put away on a shelf in my closet

Well roadtrip to Ontario to show me the truck.. and then back and you should be pretty close to that mark for the delete

And I wish I had the 4th gen mirrors.. So much easier to find then 3rd gen... Ya the mirror fell off when I closed the door after getting gas and shattered.. I rebuilt it all and have been trying to get it all glued then put a mirror tint over it.. But as I was sanding the excess glue a piece fell off again and then I just snapped and haven't looked at it since ...
After further investigation.. Found out why the heat and power didn't work for the driver side.. Wasn't a bad connection.. guess the previous owner smashed the original glass, and before putting another piece of glass on.. went and stripped all the wires from the plug to the mirror. I still have to check if the motor is even there, but I doubt it is. If it is, maybe I will try re-wiring it myself.

I'm really looking forward to it now that I have some of the stuff. It makes it harder to hold off on the install for a while. lol. In a few weeks I'll order up an exhaust and then I'll be good to go with everything. Should be deleted by the end of December.
In all fairness, I ran my H&S tuner as a gauge monitor to get use to it being there then when the time came all I had to do was input the (unlock codes) no.s and let it reconfigure. at least you can have it installed.

Haha that's true... but to do that I'd have to take a couple weeks off work which would mean less money coming in to buy the next set of mods and that's just unacceptable

I thought about doing that but I figured it would be easier to never have it installed at all if a problem does come up that I need warranty work for otherwise it might just be a hassle with the dealer that I don't need. Who knows though, I might end up doing that fairly quick. I'm still waiting for my overhead mount to show up though. For some reason it didn't come with the tuner.

im really looking forward to doing the deletes. my truck is way too quite and too slow now. but im just not ready to throw my warranty away. the good news is that when i decide to delete i will cancel my extended warranty also and use that money to buy the minimaxx and all the other parts.

For now im just gonna live the experience through you guys.
