Clutchram is on a distinguished road

Hi everyone - my first reply/post since joining, but have been lurking for months. I saw this thread and wow, I have the opposite feeling - at least on the two-tone paint schemes. I was wondering if the flares could be easily removed and if the primary color is underneath? My eye likes the paint job on my two-tone 2000 Silverado Ext Cab. The line is flat from front to rear - nothing on the arches. (Some Sierras and Silvers had painted bolt-on arches too, but I'm not a fan.) Anyway, I'll be searching for the answer; I'm planning on buying a 14 Laramie CC/6.4 with two-tone paint and may remove those painted flares upon delivery. Has anyone seen this look on a Ram? Be honest if you think it will look stupid! Thanks much.
