Default rear tail lamp out not fuse and other lights brake and blinker working

I have a 2004 dodge ram 1500 and I noticed the rear tail lamp was out on the passenger side. After replacing the bulb it still does not work, however the brake light and blinker are both functioning. None of the fuses are blown. I unplugged the drivers side in which all three lamps are working and plugged it into to the passenger side and the same issue was present. I also tried the passenger to the drivers side and all three lamps function. Some other things to note are: When I turn the vehicle off for a short time it will start again, however overnight will drain the battery and the truck will not start, jumping it is however very quick to start. Can anyone help me with this problem? I have begun following the wires from the tail lights to the dash but have yet to find a open wire where it may be grounding out.

I'm thinking the two issues are related in that you have a short to ground. So, to isolate what circuit the drain on the battery is coming from, you'll need to do an amp draw test on the system. Once you isolate where the draw is coming from, and I'm guessing it's coming from the tail light issue, you can chase that, which will probably lead you to your tail light issue. If it doesn't... we'll cross that bridge if we have to. Good luck and keep us posted.
