Default Will my local dealer help me?

So I'm pulling the trigger on ordering a 14 Sport in the next 48 hours or so and it looks like the best deal is a few hour drive away.

My question is will the local dealership do factory repairs on the truck or do I have to take it to where I bought it?

I'm hoping and praying that there are no issues but after being on the forum for a while it seems like something is bound to come up and I don't feel like driving 7 hours every time.

I'm assuming they would handle it since it would be covered by Chrysler but I could be wrong.

Thanks guys.

Your dealer should handle any warranty work. I live less than 3 blocks from my dealer and my last 2 trucks have been purchased at dealers that were over 130 miles away.

They have to fix it, they are a dealer and are required to cover the manufacturers warranty. You may get some noses turned up at you but who cares! LOL

Ask the selling dealer not to put one of their crappy looking dealership stickers on it, that way when you go to your local dealer the guys in the service department will have no idea where you got it, thats what I do.

Hopefully you'll never have to darken their door or anyone else's for a warranty issue, that'd be the ideal situation.

no voodoo inecessary...the old days are over...they are not only REQUIRED to do your warranty work, theyre happy to do it...been taking vehicles not purchased into dealerships for years to do warranty work...after the warranty, then its a different story....dealerships arent cheap...

Yeah, what Yankee said. They love warranty work, because it's all billed shop hours for the dealership either way.
