Default Cleaning Chromed plastic wheel covers

I just bought a 1500 Big Horn Club Cab that replaced my 2004 Dakota with 199K. The Dakota was far from dead and never gave me a days trouble. But time for new.

What cleaner and precautions do you guys use/take to clean the plastic chromed wheel covers?

Thanks!

Congrats on the nice looking new truck you have there. You can use any car wash soap or wheel cleaner solution to clean them. Then if you so desire, wax with the car wax of your choice.

Congrats on that...I have the quad version of that Big Horn..same wheels...just about any non abrasive will work...that and a stool and a cold one or two or three...for actual road gunk i use bug and tar remover, hose em down good first, they CAN scratch....

BTW, theres NO plastic in em, with the possible exception of the RAMs HEAD Center...and thats probly aluminum too...its just that if the chrome "cladding" gets any thinner, you could see thru it heheheh I like that tonneau cover....thought about it and decided id rather go with the wheel to wheel side steps..you really want to snazz that up, add fender flares to match....Im waiting on the bug shield and the mud flaps that fit...when i get em all on, ill put up a pic...mebbe by then there'll be a whole bunch playin with 14's....
