So, put the front Bilsteins on as soon as I got the truck home the other night. Set at 2.1, they leveled it exactly. Here is how it looked with just the fronts on.

Then today, I installed Bilsteins in the rear, along with TCG 3/4" spacers and Airlift 1000 air bags. That added back exactly 1" of rake. I like the stance. This is how it sits now.

Truck has over 100 miles on it already. Time to take it out and run around in the dirt with it tomorrow .

My garage is 30' deep, so no problem there. Shark fin doesn't clear the door opening by much, but it does clear.

Total I paid for all of it was about $780. That's Bilsteins for all four corners, TCG 3/4" spacers, Airlift 1000 bags and WirelessOne controller/compressor kit.

So far so good . Got it nice and filthy up in the mountains on Sunday, but didn't put any scratches or dents in it anywhere that you can see without crawling underneath it .

Be hauling my four wheeler and towing the travel trailer for a family camping trip back to the same area next weekend. Anxious to see how it does with hauling and towing up into the mountains at 10,000'.

Details on the tire size. Looks just perfect for a dual purpose rig.

Have you noticed any noise, squeek or rattle form the steel upper?

Not even a hint of anything like that.

I can see where if you just slapped them in they would be prone to making noise though.

On mine, I wrapped tape around the section that fits in the hole on the chassis until it was a snug fit. Cheap and simple, eliminates the source of the noise.

Could just tack weld it if you wanted to.

Hi, first post here and have been researching levels, tires and towing. I have a '14 1500 with airbags and am towing a heavy toy hauler. As much as I want to lift and stick 35's on her, its just not going to happen with me towing. I need the rake as the back end settles a couple inches when the trailer is on, this puts the truck nice and level. Id like to do what DAA has done here with 34's and lifting both ends but I think I need more back lift.

How does your truck do when hitched up? Any idea your tongue weight?

Overall Ram does a nice job ont he color choices, most of the colors really pop in th sun, much more than I see on other makes of truck.

I'm following your thread because I plan to do a similar set up once I need tires....or just can't take the factory tire look and handling any longer. With only going to a 34" tire, did you need to do the lift or did you just like the look? I'm thinking of at least leveling and not lifting the rear. I tow a boat a few times a year and plan to add the airlift to back. I'm hoping that by pumping them up while towing I can maintain level. The boat only weights about 5000 pounds and the tongue weight is probably about 600 or so.
