You think it looks bright in that picture, you ought to see it in the sun, right after getting waxed. Takes red to a whole new level.

I didn't pick the color . Wife did. But, I'm fine with it.

I'm following your thread because I plan to do a similar set up once I need tires....or just can't take the factory tire look and handling any longer. With only going to a 34" tire, did you need to do the lift or did you just like the look? I'm thinking of at least leveling and not lifting the rear. I tow a boat a few times a year and plan to add the airlift to back. I'm hoping that by pumping them up while towing I can maintain level. The boat only weights about 5000 pounds and the tongue weight is probably about 600 or so.

No lift required, I am waiting on my backordered Bilsteins but have had the 275/65's on since day one (had the dealer trade them out before delivery) no rubbing or other issues at all at stock height. In my opinion this is the tire size Ram should offer as an option from the factory.

Yup, no lift needed to run these tires. I had the D-Tracs put on before taking delivery too.

P rated tires just won't cut it on a truck for me. And especially not those gawd awful, pitiful, weak, get stuck on wet toilet paper, pop if you look at 'em mean, look like they belong an a 4 cylinder Oldsmobile Cutlass, SRA's that come with the truck. Those tires suck so bad they created their own gravity and bring everything within sight of them down.

Leveled it for just a bit more functional clearance, and added the spacer in the rear to give it back a touch of functional rake. Didn't do any of it for looks, but will gladly take the looks as a bonus .

Good to know. I hate the stock tires. Hard to get Reid of them with so much tread considering I in essence paid for them in the price of the truck. But I plan to upgrade sooner than later none the less. I had these on my old armada and they don't really last anyway.

Wonder if there's an aftermarket for slightly used crappy tires.

The market is local, and subject to fluctuation. So, where you are at? I don't know.

But... In my area, in a word, "No". You can barely even give those things away if they have been used at all.

That's one of the reasons I had them swapped out before I drove it off the lot. Was able to negotiate $800 off towards the new skins for the brand new unused SRA's. If I had driven them AT ALL - like even 100 miles, I'd have had trouble selling them for $75 each.
