Default Tire/Wheel Stock Upgrade

Dang is this tough! I am looking to upgrade my tires to BF Goodrich All-Terrain's and POSSIBLY the wheels as well, which will determine what size tire I will need to get. Has anyone upgrade to the 285 or 305 AT's and kept the stock 20" wheels? Could possibly post a picture?

If I got with a package, I would like to get a 17-18" chrome wheel...I do like the Helo HE835....Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Tons of information on wheel and tire sizing throughout the forum... all you gotta do is look. Use the search engine on the top bar of the page and you'll find everything you're looking for. This is the thread you need to read http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=139106

Typically the widest you can go on the stock rims without spacers is 285's. There are people who have gotten away with wider, but the majority of people rub. If you go with aftermarket rims you will need to get the correct width and offset and then you can run up to a 12.5" wide tire.

Thanks for the info. I do have a leveling kit on my truck, which I have heard allows you to go up to the 305's

A leveling kit only allows you to go to a taller tire, not a wider one. To go wider you either need wheel spacers or aftermarket rims with the proper offset.
