Default Truck Camping with a 2012 Ram 1500

Let's debunk some Ram Myths about truck campers.

1. Yes you can carry a truck camper on a 2011-2013. No problems. I am using the Brophry super duty clamp mount system. Just clap them to the inner truck box. There is minimal sway and roll and sometimes I forget I have a camper on the box.

2. Yes you can access the Sirius antenna to extend it very easily without ripping the dash apart. Passenger's side right floor kick plate is the location. Find the yellow connector and slide off the cover and hook your new antenna on. Easy!

3. And lastly. Do through the window CB antennas work? NO THEY DON'T

So a little help here. I recognize that these truck campers would be different in terms of weight. I had a guy ask me about a diesel, yet his need seemed to fit a Hemi. (I sent him to a dealer in Louisville KY with his question on the appropriate long bed Ram truck). I felt the newer 1500's could be a solution to a campers question regarding load, gearing and 4 wheel drive. R...

A 4.7 and that camper, if this can't put it to rest, nothing can. Thanks. R...
