Default Do you regret getting black?

I'm ready to buy and like both colours. I talked to 3 guys with black and they regret it as it shows dirt to easily. it looks sooo good when clean.

Help me decide!

My 2012 1500 was black and I agree with the 3 guys you talked too... it looks great when clean, but within about 6 hours of washing it it's covered in pollen and dust and very noticeable. That is one of the reasons my new truck is mineral grey. It hides dirt very well.

What other colours are you considering?

This is my first black truck and it will be my last black truck!!!! It's horrid to keep clean and every little imperfection in the clear coat comes shining through. I love it but it's far too high maintenance for my needs.

Its not a Ram but my wife's 13 Grand Caravan is black and I hate it it is super hot inside and if you wash it and let it sit in the yard its dirty with in hours and you can see every little issue in the paint a shopping cart nick to rock chips. I believe it a great looking color but its the worse color ever.
Just my opinion.
Mick
P.S. my mineral great ram isn't much better

My truck is not black, but I had a black car years ago and have never owned one since because it shows the dirt so easily. Don't get me wrong I love the look of black vehicles. On the other hand black vehicles do not get any dirtier than any other color, they just show it more and quicker. This could be a good thing as one is more likely to clean it more regularly.

That is why I didn't buy black. Looks good but a pain in the butt.

My mineral grey shows dirty pretty well, but doesn't show the swirls like black paint does.

Black: Best color in the world IMHO when clean. Nothing pops like a clean black vehicle. Unfortunately, Give it 6-12 hours, and it no longer looks clean with dust, pollen, and bird crap........

I still own a black car, though. (Wife got to decide the color with Mineral Grey, had the choice of M.G. or black)

Think of it this way....black means you get to spend more time outside loving your Ram....what's wrong with that? lol ;-)
