Default New tires & DRL's

Took me 2500 4x4 down to get some larger tires today. Switched out the factory 265/70/17 Firestone with 285/70/17 BF Goodrich All-Terrain. When the tire shop took off the old set, they found a cross threaded lug nut. After leaving the shop I went straight to the nearest Ram service. I showed them the problem and they said no problem, So While I was there I asked about turning on my DRL's. They had never done it but were willing to try. About 20 minutes later they brought my truck back with the DRL's on and the lug fixed. All for no charge. The dealer I bought the truck from wanted $104.00 to turn on the DRL's.

I covet your tires. I'm dying to replace the lousy SR-A all season tires mine came with but I've got about a million and one other things I need to buy first.

Wait...how long can people go without eating?

I wish my dealer would attempt to turn my DRLs on. I just ordered some aftermarket ones so I don't have to deal with them.

Not sure what part of SoCal you are in. I was in Hemet when I got them turned on.

I went back again to ask about the DRL and they said they could possibly do it, but they would have to convert the computer system to a "Canada" vehicle. I am not sure exactly what that would entail but I am not sure I am ready to be a Canadian.
I am in Orange County. MRolow, what dealer did you go to have the DRLs turned on. I went to Cerritos Dodge (part of the Browning Group).

Nothing is wrong with being Canadian. My grandmother was Canadian. I think I said that I am not "ready" to be Canadian.
I will check with the Dealer in Hemet about turning them on. I cannot figure out why Dodge will not just program all their vehicles with DRLs. I guess they don't really care if we are around to purchase more vehicles later. There is nothing wrong with a little bit of safety. How do the DRLs look? I have projector type headlights and I believe the signal lights become the DRLs.
