RHR 730N??? This is a completely different radio by a completely different manufacturer... You 'updated' it? I don't see how that could even remotely be possible.

Everything went flawlessly. It looks so much better. Maybe one day they'll add album artwork from the iPod. Hey I can dream right? Digging the black screen and its so nice to have Sirius logos. My all gig is buried underneath my console so dealer can't find it during service. Took a chance updating but worked like a champ. Thanks to everyone involved for sharing this!

Sorry about the radio model mix up.There was a update for the RHR on SOX's site it was ver 1.89 and 2.20 GB. In all the excitement of a update for my radio I forgot the original post was for a different radio and did not realize it until tonight when reading the thread. Thanks to the OP it reminding me to check for updates.

I have the Lockpick V5 and I had to unplug/plug it in after the update because my radio wouldn't turn on. Was scared for a few minutes. Working fine with the update now.

:smile down: Do not try this update if you have a SW version below 23.04.33
If you do, you'll damage the radio. Unfortunately I did while trying to see if the 50.xx is compatible with 20.02, it's not and there are no error indicators of the incompatibility. :smile down:

No, my radio is still messed up. The dealership 50 miles away is replacing the radio. Maybe my software was too old and that's why it didn't work. It never asked to update the base files so maybe that's part of it. Perhaps had I updated to 33.xx first it would've worked I don't know. I am just lucky they are replacing it.

Guys I know it's a double post but I upgraded to 50 on my 2011 ram with my lock pic still installed. I did upgrade from 24.4 to 33 to 50 I figured I did not want to take a chance. I think the guys who were having problems had ver 24.3. Or something. Anyway I did notice that after installing 33 my nav screen and I had a calculator, which I don't think I had before. And the screen was black instead of blue. And it updated my nav software but on 50 it updated the radio to black and it did not update my nav. The nav software for 33 and 50 must be the same.
