Default Throttle Body and Chips?

I have a throttle body spacer on my ram. I did not install it the previous owner did, but I've heard they do nothing, what has been everyone else experienced?

And I'm looking to get a Chip for my 1500 5.7 Hemi. Any suggestions? Not sure what to get, its my first ram and my first time modding :O. I was thinking something from diablo, any input is helpfull thanks!!

On modern engines they offer no performance benefits, and yes a waste of money. With carburated engines, yes there were some performance gains to be had, but with direct fuel injection, no. Sorry I cannot help you with your chip question, as I have no experience with them, but there are plenty here who have and hopefully will chime in to help you out.

Okay thanks! That is what I have heard and thought, I will probably end up taking it off when I clean my throttle body anyway.

The throttle body spacer does nothing for you. You can leave it on if thats easier since its not hurting anything.

You'll also want to get the diablo tuner. I love mine and would recommend it to anyone looking for a tuner.
