Default 2013 Ram shimmy problem

My new 2013 Ram 1500 Laramie with air ride suspension developed a shimmy from the rear (can feel it in the seat, not the steering wheel) at speeds 50 thru 70 mph. This started at 2500 miles. After numerous visits to the dealership, balancing wheels and replacing two tires, they are telling me that this shimmy is normal and that all 2013 trucks do it. My dealer has a 2013 with 33 miles on it that he says shimmys. He has offered and I plan to test drive that truck. My dealership has been discussing this problem with Chrysler. He said Chrysler has told him that this shimmy is normal. Has anyone else out there had shimmy problems?

You know, this makes me think about the air suspension I had on my Armada. It had a similar rear end shimmy but only after I leveled and raised it and put aftermarket wheels and tires on her. Purely stock, no shimmy. You could possibly have something out of spec with your air ride causing uneven balance between all four sides.

I have air suspension on my truck. It doesn't shimmy. At all. Yours shouldn't either.

yeah sure
Chrysler engineers spend several Million on a Ram trucks design & suspension
then they tell the Ram people, we couldn't get this particular shimmy out of it
Just tell everyone it is normal & they won't mind too much

Purchased mine in June 2013 and had to install my own 5th wheel set up using the universal rails than a Pull Right 5th wheel hitch for my short bed than left for vacation 3 weeks later. It had only 1 trouble lite and the dealer replaced a factory defect sensor and no problems since. I originally had a 2005 Chevy Silverado and slowly things started to go bad nickel and diming me to death. I love the 2013 Ram Big Horn 6.7 diesel it pulls like nobody's business.

I got my 2013 April 1st. The radio was replaced 2 twice and i had problems with the cluster. The dealer couldn't get the cluster problem to duplicate first 3 times in the shop. When they did it said replace cluster. The first cluster didn't work at all so they order another one. The second on did the same thing. I called ram and complained within a few days they told me they were giving me full credit towards a new truck. They supplied me with a loaner truck and I ordered a 2014. I took delivery last week on the new truck last week. So far so all is well. I was not happy with the 2013 but Ram backed up their product and made it right!
