Default 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi Tick

I have a 2011 Dodge Ram Super cab 5.7 Hemi and it is ticking at start up and even when it is warm. Not as noticeable when warm but still there. An old wifes tail was to put 1 liter of diesel fuel in it. Not sure if it would work or not especially in these newer vechile's.

What's your thoughts????

Thanks

There is a good chance you have a bad manifold gasket or a crack in the manifold. Buddy of mine had this around 60k and mine the same. Mine was warranty and his was $209 to repair.

Ive heard of some guys having ticking when due for an oil change or low on oil. It almost sounds like a valve timing issue. Let us know what the issue ends up being!
