Honestly had not thought about, but then again a year ago we had never though about throttle bodies either, most of the products we offer and sell are because people ask for them , On Monday I will start researching the valve body upgrade and see what we can come up with, if you would like you can email us exactly what it is you are looking for in the upgrade and we will see if we can make it happen, if we can and it is to expensive to get the process rolling we can always throw up a group buy to keep the cost down to the consumer

The valve body essentially is a control center filled with pistons, springs and check balls utilized to direct hydraulic fluid throughout the transmission to shift gears, control rpm, etc. The valve body is essentially the brain behind the automatic transmission's shifting."

That's perfect. I will send an email. The valve body in our trucks are good but they have difficulties keeping up when we mod. More flow and pressure through the tranny is what is needed for tighter shifting. couple this mod with a better torque converter, you've got a faster truck. I'm in for this mod. No one sells this mod for '13 yet. Hope Bully's can be the first.

i might be interested in this as well. might just have the tranny completely rebuilt, undecided and it is still a ways away for me

If you look around that other forum,you'll find pictures of how a throttle body should be finished to maximize it's flow potential.

i have a question that might sound stupid but id rather ask then never know. after reading this whole thread im under the impression that a 87mm TB from moes, or anyone for that matter, is some what rough on the inside because the cost to polish it isnt worth it. With that said im all for doing anything that will add me even the smallest amount of hp. After all doing 50 over looked things that could add 1hp is 50hp gained. So, if i went in with a fine grit sand paper and some 3m polish could polishing it by hand be done with out damaging anything?

Default Polishing a PTB

^ YUP
My cost was helped kept low by Hornt supplying the sandpaper but it only took about 4 hours to do everything, and has not affected driveability whatsoever.
This was done with 2000 and 1500 grit wet sandpaper and 3M polish in a folding camping chair on my driveway with a cigar hanging out the corner of my mouth while I watched the kids play.

I also knife-edged the throttle plate, and port-matched the intake manifold to the TB to the throttle body as the TB now had a larger diameter.

Thr first shot is a before/after (one side to the other). Only the shot in front of the RAM head symbol is fully polished- the rest are sandpaper only.

that looks really good reps to you. did you use sandpaper to knife edge the butterfly or was that done with a dremel? and what grit did you use to make the knife edge?
