So now I have to decide if I want it done or not.. I'm 50/50 right now I kind of want to do it then a side of me thinks it's not worth it.. What do you guys think? Anyone have pictures of there truck after a repaint? A side of me wants to sell it back and get another truck! Prolly just my OCD kicking in but I might just live with it....
Been in the same position numerous times. U.S. cars and trucks used to come with terrible paint and body work from the factory...worse than now. I've gone both ways with repair and repaints. Most of my repairs and repaints never were quite right. A couple were great. All work was done by quality shops. I'm sort of OCD too and a couple of times I only kept a vehicle for a year.

A hard lesson to learn. Check your vehicle over every which way before you sign on the dotted line. I always do but on my last truck I missed some paint nibs. On my next truck, I may take one of my friends who is a "high end" detailer with me when my truck is delivered.

If you are looking for perfect paint and body work, might want to consider something other than a Ram.

It's unfortunate that we have to deal with defects on our new trucks. I am totally unrealistic when it comes to things having to be perfect LOL, but as I get older I realize that nothing is. Before I bought my SLT I had looked at a few Sport models and noticed many paint defects. Could it be possible that the sports are painted in a different facility? Regardless, as a few members have said, it is better to leave the small defects alone rather than start repainting large sections of the vehicle. I had a auto restoration shop for many years, so I know first hand. Even with the so called "computer matching paint systems" it is rare to have the finish match perfectly; too many variables. Basically, you need to shoot color samples and adjust accordingly which takes a lot of time that Chrysler will not reimburse the bodyshop for. I am fortunate to have a very nice finish on the Red SLT that I have. There are dust nibs in the door jambs, but nothing that is noticable unless a flashlight is pointed at it.

I believe that is a "fisheye" in the paint and if I remember correct its caused from poor cleaning and preparation and if there is grease on the truck before painting it. I have the same problem on my 2013 Ram Sport on the front bumper.

I have some orange peel, but nothing worth taking it back to the dealership, which you have to weigh as there is a chance that they will make it worse.
