it is due to aero, and it varies due to the "greenhouse" size which is the size of the cab. also the big nose pushing air around to the sides, the way the A pillars are formed, and even changes if you have a tonneau cover. they could fix it but you wont like the looks of the truck! There also will be different degrees of buffeting due to whats going on with the air outside and even the density of it. I think you'll find all trucks are having this issue.

What I havent done yet is take it out at 60-80 with the bug shield on..just got it... the noise hasnt been noticeable to me, so now mebbe I'll get it too...howzat for negativity???

I got some Saran Wrap and stretched it real tight across my drivers window. No more wind buffeting problems. Lady neighbor saw me working on my new truck and came over to help me wash it clean. Here's a picture I took of her while I was sitting in the air conditioned truck as she cleaned the outside.
