Default Lugnut Size

Anyone know offhand what size the lugnuts are on the 2011 20s? I just bought an impact and was wondering what size socket Ill need. THANKS!

I cant use the search feature right now because my work computer is so security sensitive that one of these ads all over the place is messing up the layout.

I believe the 2011 uses 9/16". The 2012 went to 14x1.5".

9/16ths is the stud size

it is either a 22mm or 7/8 socket that needs to be used on the lug nuts
one of the sockets will be tighter fitting, then the other

LOL which is it? I have the opportunity here to buy a standard set or a metric set. And why did this thread get moved? I specifically wanted to ask the 2011 guys, not the whole forum in "wheels and tires"

Both 7/8" or 22mm will work.

But if you're buying a socket set, get a big set of sockets that has both. I got mine from Canadian Tire up here in Canada (obviously, lol) on sale admittedly, but it has 166 pieces and cost like $70 or something.
Sears or Walmart down there must have something like that.
This way, you'll be covered for whatever jobs come up in the future.

I would go to your local tire shop, like BF Goodrich & ask politely what the tire guys use when changing tires on a vehicle like yours

chances are they either know already or will take the 2 size sockets & tell you which is the better of the 2

then you can go purchase your own

i see most of the brand name tire stores & all the big stores of every kind are located in Saraland, AL

As now tested, and earlier posted by GTYankee, the correct size to get if you are just buying ONE socket is 7/8".
