Default White lights, what to buy?

Hey guys I'm looking to change the stock head lights and fog lights from yellow to white. Not getting halos or projectors for awhile yet. Just wondering what replacement bulbs I'll need to order off eBay for both low beams and fog lights. Not worried about high beams unless they're just as easy to swap over also. Thanks for your time!

You'll need an HID kit in order to do that. 5000K has the best light output and will be closest to white but you can go to 6000K if you want them to have a bit more of a blue tinge to them.

Look up Retro Shop. The make kits specifically for Rams that come with all the required wiring harnesses to make them work properly. Don't skimp out and buy something cheap off ebay, they won't work.
DDM Tuning is another company that makes kits. Their low pricing makes me a little skeptical but I've talked to a few guys that stand by their product 100%. I might give them a shot just because of how low their pricing is.... if they end up not working properly I'm not out a huge chunk of cash.

Changing out your headlight and fog light bulbs for new bulbs will only drain your wallet and you will be disappointed. Stay away from Ebay and the false ad's of higher output and brighter light. Save your money and buy a reparable HID kit for your headlights and fog lights.

I installed a HID kit for my fog lights from DDM Tuning. I got a 35 watt HID kit with 5000K bulbs, and a wiring harness for less than $60 with shipping. You must get the wiring harness or the bulbs will just flicker. I have had nothing but good experiences using DDM Turning kits.

I still have not ordered a HID kit for my headlights. Undecided on which HID kit to order.

as mentioned above, go HID! you wont find a much brighter halogen bulb and if you do it wont last long, I tried running the silverstar zxe's, they were a bit whiter, they werent any brighter (whiter doesnt mean brighter, they use good marketing and choice of words in their ads) they didnt last 1 year before 1 burnt out, I had read alot online about them burning out before theywere a year old, a pair of bulbs that cost half as much would give the same light out put and last for years IMO

Hmm ok Thanks guys. HIDs is it. Might wait until I get my projector headlights first. I like to to do both sets of lights at the same time.

I got hids in my stock housing too. Best move i ever made. Imo i would get both sets at the same time. I got 6000k in both heads n fogs but they dont match. My fogs are bluer than my heads. I got my fogs from ddm and ive had no issues in a year other than there too blue for 6k. I got the headlight kit on ebay for 140$ish. They have error eliminators and lifetime warranty. I had a harness go bad called them and they sent it right out no issues. If u go ebay dont buy the cheapest n check reviews. Not everything is junk. I can get u the co i went with if u want

That's ok I have lots of experience with eBay. Bought many head light sets from their and I've had a few problems but the seller sent me new ones right away. I do want white though, so I think I'll look into a 5000K kit for fogs and heads. I still want halos though for the projectors. I know when someone with the stock headlights is coming at me and they have HIDs is sure does blind me pretty good. I'd prefer the projectors with the HIDs.
