Question Help - Can you get 18" wheels for 2013 Laramie

Guys, need a little help here if you can.

I have a 2013 Laramie Crew that came with stock 20" wheels.

I need some LT tires and just happen to have new 18" Lt's already. So I'm wondering if I can get 18" wheels to fit my truck or do I have to stay with 20" or 17" wheeels?

I can't find any 18" wheels for the Ram anywhere.

Oh, does anyone know if a 20" stock wheel and tires will fit up under the truck as a spare? My truck came with the 235/85/17 dinky spare and I was looking to put one of my 20"s up there but not sure it will fit.

Can someone help me out with this.

You can fit 18's no problem. You just need the correct width and offset for whatever tire size you want to put on and a 5 on 5.5 (139.7) bolt pattern. If you want a close to stock look then go with a 9" wide rim with a +19mm offset. If the new tires you're putting on are wider and/or you want a wider stance then go with something closer to a 0 offset or even negative if you want.

The diameter of the stock tires shouldn't be a problem to fit up under there. It's actually securing the wheel up there properly that might be a problem. I'm not sure how the bracket would fit with the chrome clad wheel.

Thanks.

I went to a shop the other day and they told me I couldn't get any 18" wheels, only 17" and 20"....

I check discount tire and they seem to list some 18" that they say will fit.

So do you know if they will fit for sure?

Also, my plan is to buy a 20" steel wheel to put up under for a spare and wondered if the stock tire on the 20" wheel would fit up in the spare area.

Hey Zeta, if Discount shows 18" rims will fit, then most definitely they'll fit. I believe you get hub rings with new wheel purchase from Discount. Dude, just get the 18x9"s with a 0 or -12 offset. It'll give you a sweet lookin stance.

So does anyone know if the stock 275/60/20 tire mounted on a 20" steel wheel would fit up under the truck where the spare goes? My Laramie has dual exhaust and that fake 17" (235/85/17?) tire I believe.

Kinda need to know if I can put the 20" in it's place as I need to order soon.

thanks guys
