ya find a few premium select pieces and hold there. Overkill can look just as bad
you could probably keep the smaller yellow pieces then too. 2 colors (one prominent, one accent) over the neutral black should work out nicely

Yeah, still thinking about options...

Kind of wanna go somewhat old school, so I was thinking paint the block and timing cover, brackets, etc hemi orange. Do the valve covers in the classic hemi wrinkle finish and paint the intake silver. But you really can't see the block...still thinking about it though.

So that's when I came up with the 392 half cover idea. Paint them and the valve covers hemi orange, get rid of the 392, and put some nice black hemi decals on them and keep the orange lid. I think that will tie it all in nicely...

I do hate those yellow caps though, probably gonna paint them flat black along with the dipstick handles...
