Default Levelling kit or levelling shocks

Hey guys I'm pretty new in here. I see a lot of you guys have levelling kits, I have a 2011 ram and I'm wondering what the difference between a 2.5" level kit or rancho leveling shock kit would be a better choice. Also will I need a different offset than the stock 20" rims to put 35 12.5 r20" tires on?

To level your truck the Bilstein 5100 adjustable struts are the best option. Much cleaner and easier on front end parts than a typical spacer.

And yes you will need a different offset to fit 35x12.5's. For a 9" wide rim you want either a 0 or -12 offset. It just depends on how much you want to stick out past your fender.

Thank you for the advice. I'm guessing the shocks are a little more pricey that a levelling kit though? And would I need new springs?

The price difference between [just] leveling blocks and the Bilstein 5100 Series is evident, but well worth the little extra.

Springs don't need upgrading.

I have a write-up in my sig if you're interested in reading.

Also, punch "Bilstein 5100" into the site's search feature and you'll get several worthy reads.
