The Tilt Mirrors in Reverse ability only comes with the power seats that have the memory. So, no memory power seats no Tilt Mirrors. I went crazy looking for the option screen on my truck also.

I have it on my BMW. I disabled it. You're not missing much.

It would work much better if I could change how much the mirrors tilt and remember it. Right now the driver's mirror tilts way too far down. I realize Ram does it so when you back into a parking space you can see the lines, but I don't really need to see the driver's side rear tire. I would like it to only go half as much down. The passenger side is pretty close though. The first thing I do when I put it in reverse is hit the up arrow on the driver's side to bring it up a bit so I can at least see a little bit behind me on that side.

Well I'm totally opposite of Explorer Rob. The passenger side is what I really need and it only tilts down a little - not enough to help. Driver side works great. BTW, I have a 2014 Laramie with tow mirrors. Doesn't make sense that the two mirrors don't move the same amount nor seem to be adjustable. Once you've had working tilt mirrors you'll wonder how you ever did without it. Great for backing into the garage and following the edge of the concrete or when backing into a parking space to see the lines (I always back in whenever possible - unless of course there's a space I can pull through - Smith System).

I am not 100% sure but I think there was a post on how to set these for reverse tilt. I think you need to put the truck in reverse (Keep your foot on the brake!) and adjust the mirrors where you want them. Then the mirrors should move to that position when you put it reverse. Should.

Nope, it doesn't work that way. When I put it in reverse with my foot on the brake, the mirrors tilt down. My driver's mirror tilts too far down for me. I like to see at least a little bit towards the back of my ram rather than just a view of my back tire in case an object such as a car or person suddenly come into view. I can manually adjust it to where it gives me a better view, but the next time I put it in reverse it reverts back to where Ram thinks I should have it. When I put it in reverse, the first thing I do is hit the left mirror button and bring the view up a bit then I take my foot off the brake and continue backing up. I have to do this each time I put it in reverse. By my experience and EFD12953's experience it just goes to show that Ram should let us set where we want them to tilt and retain it in memory. What works for one, will not work for everyone.

Agreed. It should also be available on all trucks with power mirrors and not just those with the memory seats as it is a safety issue.

Default Tilting Mirror Issue

Explorer Rob beat to a response and is exactly right. Same for me - will not hold any change. Thanks for the suggestion though. Maybe someone will come up with another idea. I do plan to write Dodge to ask about it and suggest the change if no fix.

I am having the same symptoms. Only the drivers side tilts in reverse.
The passenger side does nothing.
