Default I tested the trinity 1/4 mile vs actual drag strip

Yesterday while I was at the track I decided to try out how accurate the trinity is on 1/4 mile times. The trinity claimed 14.3 and my actual time was 14.1. Not too far off I guess. Now everyone don't go trying this out running downhill and think your truck is way fast lol

The trinity doesn't know about roll out, ie the distance the truck travels before it cuts the beams.

that's really coast...so it will give you a good rough idea how you would do... you're not bracket racing anyways so where you cut the beams doesn't matter..

I had tested a g tech many years ago at the dragstrip and it was within a tenth. The mph always read 3-5 mph high but the ET was very close.

I always use this same old g tech to evaluate mods on my different vehicles on the same stretch of road. My last 2 ram runs were exactly the same time at 14.34 so it is quite consistent. Keep in mind that these runs were at about 4000 ft elevation.

Trinity told me 14.09, so maybe I'm really in the 13s.

I still have my old G tech from many years back. I got the same results as you did with mine when I used it at the drag strip!
