Default Mobil1 M1-210 will it fit the 5.7?

I read a post a while back and the guy said they {m1-210} filter did not fit. I bought a couple ,and now wondering if they will fit the 2013 5.7 with 8 speed? Anyone running them? Thanks Don

That's the part number that M1 claims will fit.

You do realize there is only one way to find out for sure. I say put it on and if it don't have a rather large oil spot in your driveway or you engine light doesn't come on your golden!
P.S If it weren't for people trying new thing's we would still be trying to push a square object uphill!

It fit mine perfectly and it has almost twice the capacity of the original.

When you take your old filter off, put the 210 filter directly against the filter O-ring on your current filter. The rubber gasket size MUST match EXACTLY. It'll be a messy affair so wear gloves over a garbage can.

The diameter, width and height of the filter can be a bit different, but the rubber gasket is what seals the filter on the engine.

The thread and pitch will allow the filter to perfectly spin on to the engine, but the snug fit of the gasket is what matters.

Don't do the puddle of oil on your driveway test.

I tried it. No luck for me. I have a 2013 1500 5.7 with the 8 speed. Mobil 1 part number is M1-113 and fits like OEM. Go to any auto parts store with the number printed on the stock oil filter and have them cross reference. It will show the M1-113 as well.

The factory installed filter is smaller capacity wise compared to the model that is listed bu all manufacturers (Mobile, RP, Purolatar). This has been discussed a few times and most don't seem to have a problem. I myself just did an oil change this past weekend and replaced the factory filter with a larger, designated Royal Purple filter. They will fit.

To make things simple - what Royal purple oil filter part # did you find.

As I mentioned before, you'll find the RP filter keeps the oil really clean.

Per RP site,
Recommended filter:
20-820

I searched it while standing in front of the filters aisle in Pep Boys.
