The 25mpg rating is for the 6 cylinder 2wd with highway gears and even in that set up it will be hard to average 25mpg.....Advertised mpgs is nothing but marketing BS! You can't expect a 6000+ pound brick to get good gas milage. My 2wd Hemi Grand Cherokee with the 8 speed and 309 gears can average around 25 mpg on a long trip at 70 mph but it still averages 17 with mixed cty/hyw (mostly city) mileage and it's a lot lighter than a truck!

Ram is not alone in the marketing BS, my co workers 2wd crewcab ecoboost averages only a couple of mpg's better than me and all other full size trucks are no better.
