Default Why is Uconnect so difficult?

Radio- RHR

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and it will not pair no matter what I do.
The same about my previous Galaxy S3.

I have been to the uconnect website, followed instructions- nothing.
I've tried every device option in the voice prompts with no results.

So far my opinion is this is the worst option in my truck- it has never worked since I bought it.

Anyone know if it's the uconnect or the loose nut trying to figure it out?

I had my galaxy S1 paired. It would not connect all the time! I had to got into settings and pair it all the time. I now have a Galaxy S4 and I think it has only dropped connection once so far ( had the phone for about 3 months) Not sure why your having issues with the Note 2.....should find it.

I've successfully connected an S3 and two S4 models without any hiccups at all.

my biggest complaint about the uconnect is i will see the phone ringing , push the accept button and it takes forever to talk, have to listen to the stupid thing go through the whole 'so and so is calling push the uconnect button to answer', when our other cars answer as soon as you hit the button.

Interesting, I've had the S2, S3, and S4 all connected with ZERO issues on any of them. Are you running any custom ROMs on the note? Custom ROMs are always "neat" but don't always have the same boring functionality.

No bling-blings...straight meat and potatoes Samsung- just got it.

On the side, the Ram sales guy had his iphone paired as a demo when I bought it- no problem.

With everything on my rig so plug-play user friendly, a bluetooth provider that is so glitchy and offers no standardization in connectivity, doesn't deserve a contract by RAM corp.

Bad form, Uconnect- bad form!

S3 here with no pairing issues. I do have the delay after you press the answer button from time to time. Of course the text message always comes across as no number available, but I don't use that feature that much to worry about it.

We do know that all issues are not created by Uconnect don't we? Phones also cause issues as well as trying to compare one Bluetooth car kit to a different vehicle mfg. Bluetooth is not the same in all vehicles due to BT specs being loosely written. Not to mention that not all BT SW Engineers write the SW the same as the next person.
I haven't really seen anyone having issues trying to pair a phone from the Samsung Galaxy line. Can you make a short video of your pairing process? This may help to identify the issue.

I've got a S3 and it works as well. Don't know if the Note is the same format...but for the S3 you gotta press the bluetooth button up top on the drop down menu, then find the uconnect to pair with, then make YOUR device "visible" (it'll have a small box on phone's bluetooth paitring screen you need to press on), then it'll ask if the paired numbers are the same (which they will be), press yes on both the phone and uconnect, and boom should be good to go.
