Default Debadging Help Needed

Trying to debadge my 1500.
First tried some heat and fishing line, no problem their. They come right off.
The problem is getting the residual adhesive off.
Tried using Goo Off. Softened the top layer but didn’t touch the sticky layer close
to the paint. Took me a couple hours to do get ( RAM1 ) off. The Goo Off will not get the residual adhesive off. So I went to the parts store and bought a can of 3M adhesive remover. It also softened the top layer of adhesive but didn’t touch the layer close to the paint. The 3M product does remove the residual adhesive left behind after peeling, rolling and picking the majority of the **** off.
Any suggestions? I’ve still got the other side to do and not looking forward to it.
Heat doesn’t seem to help.
How would a body shop do it?
Anyone have a better product or procedure to try.
Thanx!!

I used the fishing line and some rubbing alcohol and just kept peeling it with my fingers which took a few hours. For me it took some time not easy but well worth it.

Theres also a soft rubber wheel for a drill. Body shops use them for stuff like that or pinstripes. Thats what my dad used for debadging mine

Hey Man, I just did mine 3 weeks ago and also did my 2011. You need to use "GOOF OFF". that is the one that works. There is Goo-gone, Crud kutter, blah, blah blah. None of those work.

I squirted goof off on a rag (liberally), and rubbed the spot for less that 45 seconds and it was all gone. Promptly wash with soap and wax immediately when that dries and you're good to go.

Not sure if you had a typ=O on your post but Goo Off sounds like a knockoff. I got the Goof Off at Home Depot in a flip small flip top can.

If you did try the actual goof off, the Maguires Wheel on a drill is the next step.

Credit Card with some 3M remover and patience did it for me after the fishing line.

It was a hopeless feeling before i whipped out the CC!!
