Default Newbie needs help with bike rack

Hello all, I just bought a 2014 Longhorn Ecodiesel. Has anyone fabricated a in bed bike rack? I have all of the bike mounts from my last truck (Ridgeline). I not wanting to spend $200 plus dollars on a new one. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I don't have one for the Ram but had one for my previous truck. Cost me about 10 bucks for supplies. Made it out of 2x6 and 3 inch drywall screws. Made it to fit in front of wheel wells and could fit 3 bikes in there.

I made one a while back out of pvc then bed lined it to make it black. and it works well. cheap.
Use this as a guide not exact.. really measure your bed and the space your tires are.. I haul Downhill bikes and enduro style bikes which all have big tires so the spacing would change for them.. one thing you could do is not Cement the center areas that determine tire width so the rack can expand or contract to your tires you would just have to bungee it together once the bike is in there.

also check out google images.

i currently run a yakima HoldUp Hitch rack. expensive but very handy and easy to use.
