Default Light wiring help please

Christ it is hard to get to this point! I have been jumping through hoops for 20 minutes just to get here to post!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello this is my first time here. I have a 2000 1500 Ram and I hit a deer. I replaced the bumper and made all the repairs but I have a problem. I put some additional 55 watt lights on the bumper and I intended to wire them into the hi beam circuit so they would only come on with the hi beams. There are three wires going to the head light. 1) is hot all the time 2) is hot when I flip to hi beams 3) is hot for low beams. I wired into the 2) spot so when I flip Hi beams on the 55's come on. When I turn the lights and truck off all three wires become hot and the 55's stay on! Which wire do I need to get into to have the aux lights only come on with the hi beams?
Thanks

if you do not plug in these additional lights do all 3 wires still become hot when you shut down the truck and have the lights off?
