Default Recon tail light install problem.. Help!

So today i installed my Recon LED tail lights on my 07 ram.
Everything was pretty easy until i tested the lights.. The reverse lights didnt come on at all.
After checking the install again i realized that the white and black wires didnt align with eachother on each side... Only problem is, the way the recon reverse adapter is built , that is the ONLY way it can connect... What am i missing here????

Sounds to me like something was swapped out on your truck at some point in life

Do you have any pictures of what the connectors look like? The wires in them might be able to be swapped around so they line up correctly. Obviously LED light's only work if they're hooked up correctly so I'm guessing that's what your problem is. If you can't swap them in the existing connector you can always cut the wires on each side, run down to your local auto shop and pick up some new connectors and wire those in.
