Default Choosing Wheels

So I haven't been able to track down this answer as of yet so maybe someone can chime in and answer it for me. As I know, the stock wheels we run on our rams (at least 2011's) are hubcentric wheels and when going to an aftermarket wheel it seems that hubcentrick wheels would be the best choice in order to eliminate vibration. From what I've seen, I don't think many of them are. What the solution to this? Are people just buying the rims they like with the correct bolt pattern and just hoping everything works out fine? I know motorsporttech makes spacers that will seemingly eliminate this problem but what if you don't want to bump your tire out any further?

Thanks!

You just need hub centric adapters. Lots of wheel manufacturers make them and, depending on who you get your wheels from, they might be included if they know what vehicle they're going on. For example my Fuel Hostage wheels ordered from Bully's Performance on my 1500 came with the hub centric adapters for my truck. Just talk to your supplier and see if they have them. If you don't yet have a supplier, email Bully's Performance at sales@bullyseprformance.com. Mention that you're a forum member and they'll get you some great pricing.

Thank you very much for the information. Since I'm going to run fuel wheels and I'm going to get them from Bully's, it looks like you answered all of my questions! Thanks a lot!

Yeah, most aftermarket wheels are lugcentric. Most times, this is never a problem. But if vibration problems arise that balancing cannot solve, hubcentic adaptors are available.
