Default Getting to hate my remote start!

I have my keys in my front pocket and twice I have inadvertently started my Ram without intending to, just by bumping into my work bench in my shop. i may have to resort to a belt key fob.

Welcome to the remote start club, at least they finally stopped making the windows open if you keep pressing the unlock button. I've came out to open windows several times with my old '10. Its not just Dodge though, my BMW has been started a couple times as well by accident. One of the pitfalls of keeping the keys in the front pocket and being active.

To be honest though the 'keyless and go' key fobs have been pretty good for me so far, no accidental unlocks, turning on the horns or accidental remote starts in a few months.

I like my remote start, its the DB-All unit, you need to press the lock botton 3 times for the truck to remote start, and that has to be 3 times in a row and within about 5 secs, if you wait to long between the button press it resets. Always have my FOB in my front pocket, never did I remote start my truck by mistake in almost 2 years

No trouble with remote start yet but the lock unlock buttons being raised up....ugh! I'm always hearing my truck honk or finding it unlocked the next day!
