Default What subs and box in QUAD cab Already have a kicker ZX1000.1.

Hey guys looking for suggestions on what subs and box to go with in my 2013 Ram Quad cab.

I am very used to loud deeeeeppp bas since i have had 2 cvx 12's_in my tundra crew max (tons of room behind the seats) then i went to a 13' Charger and has a ported probox with a 1200 watt RMS Rockford Fosgate t2d2-12.

I am accustomed to loud booming bass. Now with that said i am soon realing the fact that i ave to have my back seat and i would like the enclosure to be under the rear seat.

I already have a kicker ZX1000.1 which produces a true 1000 watts-ish at 2 ohms.

so i plan on installing 2 10's or 2 12's DVC 2 ohms.. i am just unsure on which ones match up well with a sealed enclosure that can sustain that amount of watts with out blowing.

help.

If you can find the Kicker Solo Classic, do the 10", they like small sealed, .66 per driver. Stick with 10's, you'll find more apps than a 12". Even the CVX 10" would work.

This is the set up i am looking at

Dual 10 box
http://www.ebay.com/itm/350860512944

2 Kicker 10 2 ohms compRT
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_2061CVR...er-reviews-tab

Running with the kicker ZX1000.1 @ 2 ohms.

The amp is a little higher than the subs are rated but the box offers 1. cubic foot of air space and the cvr's ask for a minimum of .8

I wish i could go with the CVX's but the obx only offers 6" of mounting depth. The CVX ask for 8".

Get off Ebay, you will blow those boxes apart. If you want loud deep bass then go with the Netaudio box if he can make you one, or go with the Fox Box.

My plan for the temporary is to waste the $65 bucks on the cheap ebay box and try it out for a bit until I can rake the cash together for a the $400 net audio box.

I sae he has like a 2 month lead time anyhoo.. so might as well have something in until the slower season.

Also

I went ahead and purchased the 2 kicker comprt 10'z part number 40CWRT102

The specs screamed efficency and should match up well with the shallow boxes we have to have.

Would have been perfect with the CVX 10's

I am only about 15 miles from the pro box factory.. I have talked to the head engineer many times out there..

If i found out the vminnovations box is trash.. im going to take the loss and look into the pro box, fox box or net audio.

I am really excited to check out the new kicker comp RT. If the specs are right it may be the best shallow sub out there... I hope so!

Ported fox box with Alpine type R 12s. Biggest boom with keeping the rear seat.
