Default Food, now you've done it.

Sometimes when you have a big mac attack, you might need to buy two if one seems small. That's one of my favorite McD's burgers. I love the apple pies when they're freshly heated. Man we love to eat in America. We love good food.

True story for you.

Poutine started out at McDonalds in Montreal by a guy by the name of Gill. He was a good friend of mine and thought that it would take off.

He worked at the McDonalds across the road from The Forum (the old home of the Habs), but they made it differently back then (more than 20 years ago now.

Gill used to make this at home, and his girlfriend would make it for us when my then girlfriend and I would go and visit, but instead of using gravy he used to put a pasta meat sauce and cheese on top of his fries.

I hate to admit it, but it was awesome.....of course I was in my early 20's so any free food was awesome! LOL....

This is how it was proposed to McDonalds, but the cost to make this and keep this with the meat pasta sauce was too expensive so they dumbed it down to gravy.

As for me, my favourite fast food would be Sushi to go, but I have a real hard time passing up on Whopper Wednesday! LOL.......

As for Five Guys.......we even have them here in Toronto now.

Chick Fil A is a fairly regular thing for me
Five Guys is our Sunday spot
Steak n Shake is a rare treat only because the closest one to me is almost two hours away.

Carl's Jr. all the way!

It was my second real job in high school years. And I learned the perfect Famous Star build...

Famous Star
-No Cheese
-No Onion
-No Tomato
-Extra Pickles
-Extra Special Sauce
+Add Barbeque Sauce

And substitute fried zucchini for the fries. This is a must! Along with two ranch dipping cups.

I always get a look from the cashier.. but I always get what I want. I don't have a Carl's Jr near me (nearest one is a 60 mile drive) but I do get to visit about 4 times a year.

I am an old school fan.. I still believe, and repeat, their 90's slogan -
"If it doesn't get all over the place, it doesn't belong in your face!"
