Default SD Card / Uconnect

Hello.....

I have the SD card loaded with i tunes format. It seems to read the music file just fine but won't read the exported playlists.

Do I just make file loaded with the music in a playlist or is there a format the stereo will read as playlists??

Thanks for your help!!!!

I don't believe that any of the OEM radios in Chrysler products made in at least the last 6 years reads Apple formatted CDs or SD cards properly

There is a relatively new update for the 8.4 radios, it was suppose to fix some issues with playing SD cards & Cds

Not sure about Apple, but I used Windows Media Player to create my play lists and then copied the Playlist folder and playlists to my SD card and they work great.

For my RBZ I use a blank windows formatted (FAT32) flash drive. Step 1, I create sub folders off the root, one for each playlist name. step 2, I drop .mp3 files only into the sub folders created in step 1. Step three I plug it into my RBZ and copy everything to the hard drive. The sub folder names all appear as playlists. It's a pretty stupid interface because if I want to add songs to a playlist in the future instead of using the existing one it goes and creates a second playlist with the same name. Anyway this is what works for me. I just keep a duplicate 32 gig flash drive with all my truck music on it. If I want to add things I add to the flash drive, wipe out my RBZ hard drive and reload from scratch.
