Default Please help a newb, carbon, exhaust ?

I will try to attach pics. Question is: I seem to have a carbon build up at my exhaust tips. Is this normal? I have only had it 6 weeks so they could have just cleaned it up all nice, or i could have a problem starting.
2011 hemi sport 4x4 CC. 27600 miles. Stock except drop in K&N.
Thank you...

No you need to return it....it should not be doing this......may need a new engine if it keeps doing it on the new exhaust

just kidding....yes its ok, its exhaust! what do you think gets pumped out the tailpipe? if you want it clean, just clean it everyso often.

Do you have any issues with starting or anything? Just wondering because you mentioned it in your post.

I've seen a few posts about this before...people claim its from rich exaust, ie to much fuel, like at startup until it warms up. Not true!

Get yourself a catch can, then clean the tips up, amazingly it won't reappear...it's from the oil that get's sucked back into the intake and burnt in the combustion chamber. Look at almost any newer car and 90% of the tips have that. My wife's 2013 Kia Optima is horrible...
