Default ABS braking trouble.

Hi,

New this dodge ram forum. I have a 2002 ram 3500 and am haveing braking trouble. At low speed braking the abs just kicks in and not sur why. The brake or abs light dose not come on the dash. If you pump the brakes the abs gos off and you can stop just fine. I have hit thebrakes hard from high speed and stops just fine. Just when you are sitting at a light and let off the brake to pull up and then hit the brake agin it happens. Not sure what to look for any help would be great. Thanks

Default

I have the same issue with my 2500. I had a friend hook a computer to it and it read a trouble code with the wheel/hub bearing abs assembly. If it is doing what my does and your backing down a drive or stopping at a slow speed it kindda pulsates and goes to the floor not wanting to stop the truck. Only does it at a slow speed....Autozone sells them for about 225 a side. I recommend changing out both sides at the same time. I had already replaced all the brakes, master cylinder, power booster, and lines before I discovered it.
