I love the mileage difference in my 14 express RC with 6spd and 3.92's Avg 16.5. My 13 crew 4x4 got 12.3 doing the same stop and go. On the highway I get about 19 to 29 compared to my 13 that was lucky to get pass 14

The 19MPG I'm getting in the pic is city driving. I had averaged as low as 15.8 but since getting a Volant ColdAir Intake I'm doing no worse then 18-19. I'll post how I do on freeway my next trip. Definitely love ECO mode for sure when all the HEMI power isn't needed.

Wow! I would love to get 19mpg... So, is this cold air intake a DIY thing or did you have it profesionally installed?

cost $ ?

Thanks!

The Volant Cold Air is a direct bolt on. I installed it within an hour of taking off the stock intake. Volant supplied all the hardware needed. Driving habits have a lot to do with my MPG but I did notice an instant 1 MPG difference without watching my driving. Depending on the unit cost can be between $300-$400. Well worth the extra MPG and HP/TORQUE (which is noticeably increased as well)

The instant of 28 was what I was getting for 6 miles straight. Helped that there wasn't any wind that day. And no I was not going downhill. I took a pic because I couldn't believe how good it was. My average was at 18.7 and climbing since I had filled my tank just before I took the pic

In between Austin and Houston I can do 80 and get 21-22 on the highway all stock.. just have the 8 spd transmission. I don't know how it does this.. but I don't mind!

I noticed when I use cruise control (no matter the speed) your MPG increases greatly. Prob due to the fact your in ECO mode (using 4 cylinders to maintain speed). Getting 19 in city definitely attests to this. I'm betting I can get mid to high 20's on highway setting cruise at 70-75 mph. For having a 5000lb plus truck get these MPG numbers in a V8 and even the V6's (would think 6 would be working harder) these numbers are impressive.
