Good luck on the road force being too high. I had the same thing with two tires. Goodyear replaced them for me. But when I got my truck back, the shimmy was still there.

like I said guys, go to a real tire store, dealers suck with tires and especially suck with goodyears which suck on there own

that's a lot of sucking, LOL

I got BFG AT KO on at discount tire and it's smooth as glass.

just a thought....

I agree with Breathing Borla. The dealer is not a good place to have the balance done. Who knows if they are even doing a rebalance unless you were standing there and watching them do it? My freind (who owns a tire shop) was amazed at how far mine were off & I didn't have a shimmy, we just did it for the hell of it. But still the drive shaft is a possibility?

Yes, I agree with all of you guys. That would be a good place to start with a professional tire shop. My friend, a service manager at a GM dealership, said he has a lot of problems with 20 in Good Year tires. I'll start there and let you guys know how I make out.

I had NTB do mine twice. The first time it helped some. My truck is not that bad it only does it on certain speed and road combinations.

I think I'm experiencing same issue. At speeds 60-70, buzzing sound coming from front driver side. May rotate wheels and see if any difference.

I had/have a shimmy that shows itself from time to time. Dealer folks conflicted each other on the weight placement on these 20" aluminum wheels: one tech said you have to place weights on multiple spots and the other said you should only have to add weight in one spot; this latter is what I agree with since I used to balance race bike wheels for a race team when I had a full head of hair and rule one is you NEVER add multiple weights since that is working against yourself and indicative of a defective rim.

I had a warranty rebalance done at 5k, at 10k now and was told can have it done again on Chrysler's dime before 12k. After that it's mine. At this point I'm not really 100% sure what is wrong since it's intermittent.

Don't accept any shimmy. It is dangerous and can lead to a wreck. My truck doesn't shimmy at all. Get it fixed before someone gets hurt or killed
