Are you sure about those sized, the Outdoorsman comes with 265-70R-17's (31.61in height) or you can get it with 275-60R-20's (32.99in height), there would be 1.38" difference.

If they are these sizes there would be a 3" difference
275-60-17 =29.99
275-60-20 =32.99

Dealer can adjust the computer for the difference.

The dealer may have ordered the truck with the 20" from the factory, and had a client that wanted them for his truck so they where swapped, you can get your build sheet to check what was on it when it was built, you can also look at the Window sheet and see what you bought, if the window sheet says 20's and you got 17's I would drop back in to see the dealer.

I think that everybody should get a build sheet from Chrysler. If I remember correctly there is a higher charge for the 20" tires. If you paid for them, you should've gotten them.

The Outdoorsman comes stock with 17 inch wheels because they perform better off road which is why many people gravitate toward the Outdoorsman. You can get 20 inch wheels as a $1,400 option on the Outdoorsman. You can also special order 17 inch wheels for the Laramie but the Laramie comes standard with 20 inch wheels. I have considered ordering 17 inch wheels for my Laramie because many say they ride better (more air) and they certainly cost less to replace.

What do you mean by "more air"?

I think he means more side wall therefore a more pliant ride.

Check your window sticker asap and see what is suppose to be on your truck. When I was picking out mine I asked if I could trade rims and tires with another truck and he said no because the window sticker has to match according to the Monroney rule. This has become a huge problem as seen with the axle ratios...window sticker says 3:55 when the truck has a 3:21. Same thing applies with the tires; everything has to match up. Make sure you get what you paid for.

That was what I was thinking but both tires are the same tread width and the percentage of side wall is the same, 60%, so no increase in the side wall.

The sticker on the drivers door lists tire pressures for both sizes. I have the 20's, and it lists pressures for the 17's as well.

17s are just a larger tire profile
20s are a lower tire profile
22s have the lowest tire profile
