Default need help with tach problem

So I recently aquired an 01 2500 and am new to the diesel world I had my check engine light come on so I scanned it and it gave me a P0341 which says camshaft position sensor A-bank 1 CKT range / performance....when it happened my tach died 2 seconds later the light came on then my tach came back never noticed any difference in idle

Guess what I reallly wanna know is where is this sensor located is it easy to fix? How costly is it? And the main one should I be driving with it like this?

Any help is greatly appreciated as I don't want to damage the truck or motor thanks in advance to anyone wih any info
