Default Sluggish/ Bad MPG

Here lately my 2010 Hemi has been sluggish at highway speeds ( 60 mph and up) and the throttle response is horrible. I drive roughly 80 miles a day, too and from work and 70 of that is on the highway and I cant seem to break 15.9 mpg. It currently has 43K on the clock with K&N Drop-in, DSP 91 tune (running 93), and flowmaster exhaust. I have not changed the plugs yet, could that be some of the issue?

I'd say most definitely. Battery could be going as well. 3 years going on 4 if OE.

Plugs would definitely be a concern. I'd get those changed out. Also, have you run any cleaner, like Seafoam, through the tank? That might help clean out some of the garbage as well.

I kind of figured that the plugs needed to be changed. I just wasn't sure being that from what I have read the majority said that it was a waste of time and money to change them before 60K. I just hope this helps because I am definitely missing the pep that it had when I got it. Thanks for the help.

I have heard of Seafoam but never used it. Does it actually work?

We run our trucks 100K plus before plug swap, Try staying away from discount fuel stations, My son-in-law drives a fuel tanker BELIEVE it when I tell you there is some terrible fuel going to these off brand stations. Try Sunoco, Mobil, Chevron, any with fuel additives advertised. Few tanks of good fuel might surprise you. If you do pull a plug and it's brown instead of light grey you have a "gummed" up fuel system. Your injectors are "dribbling". Sort of like a plugged spray paint nozzle. Picker.

I get fuel from Valero, Texaco and Buc-ees gas stations. I tried Chevron but I got a lot of knock/pinging at WOT so I quit buying gas from there. I believe you on the bad fuel because my wife used my truck for a few days and put some SAC-N-PAC BS gas in it and it sounded like there was a pinball tournament under my hood every time it shifted @ WOT for like 4 days. I will pull a couple plugs and see what they look like.

IMHO, and several others here, I think it does. Cleans the injectors and if you run it through a vacuum hose &/or your TB, it'll clean up the intake.

I put can of it in my truck last night when I filled up and I am now a believer. I could tell a difference on my way to work this morning. It seemed to have a smoother idle and better acceleration. As far as MPG I'm not sure yet being that my foot was just a little heavy this morning. Thanks again for the help.
