Default 4/6 drop

finally decided to go with a 4/6 drop instead of 2/4...what size tires and wheels will look good and fit with the 4/6...pretty sure the 275-65-20 wont fit?

You're right about the stock tires not fitting with that low of a drop. My stock tires barely fit with a 2.5/4.5 drop. You would probably want a tire size around 31" tall. A 285/50r20 is about is almost 31 and 1/4" tall or a 285/45r20 which is about 30" tall. Personally, I would go with the 50 series, but would be cutting it close as far as rubbing issues

Default 4/6 drop

I would stick with a 30" or less diameter.

You should be fine running a 285/40r22 tire

Ok, I only have a 2/4 drop on mine, and have SRT10rims, running 285/40/22's in front and 305/40/22s in the rear which equals 31" in the front and 31.5" in the rear. I still rub on super big dips in the front. It barely ever happens cause the suspension has to be maxed out to do it, but it had rubbed a little hole on both my inner plastic fenders. It really didn't hurt anything, but still anoyes me that it has rubbed a few times, maybe total of 5 times in a year. With a 4/6 drop I think you need like a 35 series tire for sure in the front. You can still get away with a 33" factory size in the rear and keep your speedo accurate. I got kind of a staggered look this way on mine, and it looks good to me like a hot rod with a fatter and wider tire in the rear. Also some people after lowering run into a problem with running 305's in the front with a 10" wide rim, they have a tendency for the tire to rub on the upper ball joint area, the 285 ensures you have at least .5"s of clearance, just depends on your truck, I could have run 305s all around, but I wanted to be at least u hair under 31" in the front to help alleviate the rubbing.

Also once you get profiles around 3"s or less, the handling takes a dramatic increase on turn in and how flat the truck takes a curve. I ran the stock 20 inch wheels with 285/50/20's with about a 4.5" sidewall and the handling felt almost sloppy compared to now. I freaking love it. If you need pics I can post some later.

Lastly 305's fit the rear perfect on a 10" rim. I got maybe .5" of clearance between my rear tires and the stock plastic inner fenders. If you take out the fender liner, I wouldn't there is about almost an inch of space left. So technically you have about as wide as you can go without sticking out the fender with the 10" rim.

I had 5/7 on my 05, I ran 285/40s on SRT reps and trimmed/rolled fenders.
