Default New to the 4.7

Well I have had my ram for a little over a month, and I've started to add a few things like an exhaust its not true duals just a 1 in 2 out muffler with 2 tips coming right out the back end, I still need help with a couple more mods, what would yall recommend for a CIA and tuner? and where can I get headers? I'm very unfamiliar with modding this motor so I dont know what this motor responds best to? so If yall could give me some information it would be much appreciated?

The CAI you have on the 2011 is very good, you might just want to get a drop in high performance air filter, before plopping down a few 100$ for a CAI that will give you nothing but engine noise, get yourself a free flow exhaust. As for Tuner, there is only one that will work with your truck, and that is the Bully Dog GT Hemi +, as for headers, talk to Andrew at Bully's Performance, he might be able to source something out for you. Hope this helps.

What do you have done as far as exhaust currently? The oem exhaust is very good, other than the restrictive muffler. If you want a tuner SC is the best by far for this engine but like said above not available yet, there is only one option. There are no headers for the 08+ 4.7L. Airram is great but they are geared more toward the pre 08 4.7L. Still worth looking/contacting him though.

I agree with Snrusnak, stick with the stock 3" pipe and add a decent muffler.
I put a Magnaflow 16869 kit on my 4.7,and it's not much benefit.
Also have the Airraid cold air kit and a ported throttle body, none of them are worth the money spent.
Buy a tuner instead

I have a flowmaster muffler, and its a 1 in 2 out, it does have dual exhaust, and i dropped in a k&n filter today I love the sound of my truck right now, I know its not a performance mod but yesterday I leveled it out, and thats about it for now.. next is going to be a tuner, and wheels and tires!
