OK. I did some MORE research. I really think I can do this cheaper than I thought. I have sourced a fused relay box from Bussmann. I found a site that is one stop shopping for the box, relay, fuses, wire, and fittings.
Benny at www.moparonlineparts.com
ordered a 2500 Switch Panel to make sure it is the part I need. Since there are no pictures to go with the part number. If you do a Google search it will bring you here.
So here is the price break down so far:
2500 Switch Panel $63
Mopar Wiring Kit $38
Bussmann relay box, relays, fuses, wire, and fittings $60
S&H should be under $10
So, all in I am looking at around $175 for a clean, OEM looking switch panel I can add things on to going forward.
It is more then I thought it would be going in. It is A LOT more then a $5 eBay rocker switch but no drilling in the dash.
Benny tells me the switch panel won't be in until January 20th or so. I am in no hurry since the only thing I can do until spring is pre-wire the relay box. It is a cool project but it's not a work in -25 temperatures cool with no garage.
So, stay tuned...
